Customer Reviews

Happy customerI was a little worried about ordering these after reading the negative reviews, but figured I would take the chance anyway. I'm glad I did! These are not premium quality, they are thinner feeling and the edges are a little rough to the touch in spots, but the discs fit snugly with no worry of falling out and the seams all felt strong. I was able to economically downsize my boyfriend's massive movie collection from 2 bookshelves to 2 large 3-ring binders that I can tuck away so our living room doesn't look like a Blockbuster store. (For you youngins who don't know- that's a store where us old folks rented movies before there was redbox.) 4Great Sleeves, held up wellI used these for a report That I had to submit to another company after a 45 day job. They aren't the most professional looking sleeves, but the get the job done. The product holds the discs in place well, and did not fall apart on me. I have to say these were pretty great. We had about 30 discs to turn in, per binder, and the 8 disc capacity per sheet was great. It saved a lot of space in the binder and did not stick out awkwardly. The labels were easy to read underneath the clear sleeve and the discs did not slide around in the sleeves. I felt that the information was secure in these. I think they would look more professional if they were entirely clear (no black felt) and the company logo was a little less obvious (large icon on the bottom corner) I just flipped them around so you couldn't see the logo when you flipped through and it look much better. All in all I would defintely recommend these. 4Great Binder Pages for a DIY Media BinderThe pages are nice high quality, they are very tight fitting, which does prevent the discs from falling out. Instead of buying expensive media binders, I get a 4pk of generic 2" binders from Sams/Costco for $10. I rip out the 3-ring spine on a binder, and throw it away. I then tape the spinless binder to a regular one, which creates a folding binder that's wide enough to fit 25 pages. So with the cost of the pages and 2 DIY binders, it only runs me $30 ($15 each) and I can fit 400 discs that I can organize and add pages in where I want them as needed, instead of having to shift everything around all the time (very important when constantly adding movies for my kids). See pictures. 4Perfect! Use with 4 inch Gapless Media Storage BinderLove these so much! They are solving our storage problem! Use with the Gapless media storage binder (4 size) and they fit perfectly without sticking out. They are too wide for a regular binder. They hold the DVD s tightly and securely. They are thin, so as to not take up too much room, but sturdy enough to put in and take out the DVD s without issues. For those of you who don t like the idea of parting with your media boxes, I am boxing all the empty cases and putting them in the attic. That way, if I ever want to sell them or donate them or even just loan them out, I will still have the cases to put them in. Out of sight, out of mind, but still available if I want them later. Meanwhile, I am getting 2 sets of shelves out of my living room! Yay!!! It feels bigger already:-) 5I love this productOh, man! This came in one day - ONE DAY!!! I've bought these before at a store, but the price was cheaper here. I love this product! I have quite a few DVDs, so putting them in binders with these binder pages was a perfect solution to finding DVDs in a snap! I put the paper pages alphabetically in a pocket file so if I want to see a DVD but don't remember what it's about, I can look in my pocket file. If I ever run out of room, I will be ordering more of these and I would definitely buy from this seller again - thank you!!! 5CD pockets entirely too tightThis is the third time I have ordered a quantity of Vaultz insert pages. The first time I received a set of side-loading inserts in which one of every two pockets could accomodate only the CD. Though I would have preferred top loading so that I could put both a booklet and CD in the all the pockets, they were OK and I made do. CDs were easy to insert and remove. For the second order, I received a set of top-loading inserts. Everything was fine, and I thought Vaultz had redesigned its product. The insert pages in my latest order, however, were side-loaders again, and impossibly tight. I have use force to get a CD either in or out. And if you want to insert a CD booklet in one of the two pockets, forget it. Either that or be willing to trim about 1/8-inch off.I took one of these pages and laid it over one from the previous order of side-loaders. They were visibly smaller. Then I measured. The opening (height) of the good ones was 12mm, which allowed for easy insert and removal. The new ones measured 11.8 or 11.9, or somewhere between -- just enough to make insert and removal an unpleasant task.I object to the poor quality control that obviously goes into their making, but my biggest complaint is that I have no way of knowing what I'm ordering. I've noticed that Amazon now has clear inserts for sale from Artisan which look as if they are top loaders. They certainly couldn't be worse, but I ought to hold my breath. 1we've resorted to large binders and sleeves like these to store & organize thingsWith a huge CD collection taking up WAY too much space, we've resorted to large binders and sleeves like these to store & organize things. This was the best price I found for any sleeves, and they arrived promptly. My one unfulfilled desire for them is the same for all the sleeves I've found: in order to fit a regular binder, the inner two CD pockets are slanted to avoid the binder holes. Since we like to put at least the covers in with the CD's, this means I'm forever trimming them to fit. I would prefer that the binder holes were part of an additional side seam, although that would mean a larger binder would be necessary. Also, in many cases, I want the entire CD Booklet, and with these sleeves the only way to do that is to use up one slot of the binder, and put the CD in the smaller inner slot. If you don't have 500+ CDs, that would be ok, but with our collections I'd really like to avoid doing that. Since I come from the vinyl era, where liner notes and cover art were a crucial part of the lp experience, I still want to know who played on what track, who arranged the strings, etc., and that means I keep the booklets.Still .very good product and great service! 4Don't buy!I had to remove all the cut out plastic that should of been removed from the sleeves before leaving the factory. This is the exact same product I bought the month before & as you can see it doesn't fit in a standard binder. It's totally a different size then advertised. Unfortunately I got sick & didn't discover the substandard product until it was too late to ship back. 1Great Idea!I have gone through a couple cheap DVD cases in the past few years. The sleeves are always tearing up or falling out, and the cases themselves become junk. I was about to spend $30 more on yet another case when I discovered these. They are so much sturdier than my previous $30-$40 cases, and cheaper too! I don't care about a fancy case, I don't care that it zips up or includes pockets for DVD/CD covers. All I want is something to hold the kid's DVDs. I got a few 1.5" 3-ring binders and VOILA! For $20 I have enough sleeves to carry 300 DVDs! It is a little weird that the manufacturer decided to slide the DVDs from the outside in (rather than inside out), and you would think they'd easily fall out of the sleeves, but they don't. At least not yet. Maybe in another year they will be loosened to the point the DVDs slide out. But that's the beauty of this set - you can always replace one or two pages anytime you want!I am debating on whether or not I want to buy Case-it XLarge Capacity 4-Inch D-Ring Zipper Binder with 5-Tab File Folder, Blue, D-186-BLU or something similar to keep these in . . . I will probably just keep with the cheap 3-ring binder until/if the rings lose alignment and then I will consider putting my DVDs in a nicer case. 5Beware! Newer pages are smaller than before - makes it difficult to useThese used to be very good, but the manufacturer inexplicably has started making the pages a fraction thinner, which makes it very difficult to put your disks in the sleeves. The original size of the pages was perfect. I don't know why they did this stupid change. The discs fit so snug, its going to be inevitable that the seal around the disk partition is going to rip at some point, which is probably what they want so you have to buy more replacements. This move to make your product actually worse when it was perfectly fine in the first place is dumbfounding. I used to use these by the hundreds but now I have to look for something else. 2
