    Attention not paid to detailIt looks nice from a distance but once you get closer you start to see there was not much attention paid to detail. My biggest issue is the lid is not lined up with the bottom of the ottoman. This is why I'm sending it back. I would have been ok with the buttons being crooked and not lining up but since I was taking pictures anyway I added that as well. I didn't even get the feet out since I decided to send it back as soon as I saw the lid. The lid does hold up nice, the inside looks spacious, and the fabric is nice though.2Perfect!I was drawn to the styling of this ottoman. I love the button tufts, nail head trim and turned feet. It is faux leather, but very pretty and very well made. It has plenty of space in the storage area for multiple throw blankets, pillows, books, DVDs, or whatever.It's very comfy to prop your legs and feet on. I have a recliner that I normally use, but have been sitting in my new accent chair more recently, just so I can use this ottoman:).Note: the nail head trim is brass, not silver as it looks in some product images.5Save your money , Buy a better made foot stool.Arrived with a large seam with no stitching on the center of the top. Emailed Convenience Concepts, no answer so far. 8 days.1Sturdy ottomanThis is a very sturdy, well-built ottoman. I especially like that there's not a lot of give when sitting on it. Because this ottoman is located in a room where I have my grandchild's crib, I really like that when the lid is opened, it stays open firmly enough that you know it's not going to drop. No smashed little hands with that! It's also roomy and could hold 2-3 blankets. I have baby clothes in it.5Stitching split at seamsI have had this item for just a little over two months. We bought a pair to go in my home office. As another poster has mentioned, one of the seams on top has now split. The product looks nice and the storage is handy but we will now have to replace both pieces. This room doesn't see much use so I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the product.1Stylish for the price and modern looking! I wanted to add a small ottoman in my closet. I wanted bright white color (not off white or ivory) and took a chance. It is white and looks great in my closet! It's a plus that it has a storage feature which I wanted. I'm not sure about longevity of the faux leather but for $100 I am willing to take a chance. The only thing is it had a weird marking on one side of the bench (almost looks like a faint pen mark that has been wiped off :( But it's very faint and I didn't want to hassle with returning so I turned it away so I couldn't see it as I walked in to the closet. Came fully assembled which is a huge plus and all I had to do was screw on the feet by turning them, no tool needed. It looks chic with my white and dark closet cabinets and dark hardwood flooring. White makes it look fresh and crisp. 5convenience concepts is a great company!I've bought 3 of these ottomans which are absolutely wonderful! lots of storage room. after a couple months one of the ottomans seam started to come loose. I contacted convenience concepts and right away (I provided pictures) they stated that they would send a replacement asap! came within a week! I am so impressed by this company...this is the way companies used to do business...stand behind their products! it's very rare to have great customer service and a company that is proud of their products. thank you convenience concepts!5It's absolutely beautiful.Magnificent! Great color, very stylish. Worked great for my space.5Update: falling apart after 3 monthsI bought this to use as a foot rest for my broken La-Z-boy while I shopped for a new chair. It is very comfortable and I like how tall it is. It seems slightly taller than the average ottoman but that works great for me because I am 5 10 and tend to purchase taller furniture and this was a perfect match for my chair in color, height and comfort.Update: less than 3 months of use and the block the leg screws into fell off in an irreparable way. It was under light use - propping up feet, moving a few inches left or right.1Don't waste your moneyI am very disappointed in this product. I purchased the leather ottoman only four months ago, and the seams on the top have already split. It seems to be a sturdy product, but the quality of the upholstery leaves much to be desired. If you are determined to buy this product, I would suggest you try the cloth version. Maybe it will hold up, where the leather has failed. This was clearly a waste of my money.1Gorgeous! I purchased they grey color. The color is darker than expected and it has a nice woven appearance. Very rich looking and the black legs really add to the appearance. It has a nice interior and hinge. Worth every penny! 5Great footstool for the price I paid I needed a decent looking footstool for my new apartment but did not want to pay big bucks at a retail furniture store. I saw this Convenience Concepts model for $35 and decided to give it a try. I was fairly sure I would get some cheap thing that wouldn't last past one year but to my surprise, the unit in Dark Espresso is pretty classy looking and well built. Top of the ottoman lifts up to reveal a large empty space inside the footstool (where you can store stuff). The faux leather covering is tasteful and well done and the wooden legs are solid and let the ottoman sit perfectly flat and level. There are about 7 buttons on top of the unit that are not sewn on that well and could be torn loose if you keep pushing on them (and especially if you have kids), but for $35, this is a minor nag. Overall, considering the price, this ottoman rocks. Exactly what I needed and would recommend to others. Five stars 5
